L’Assistance publique -Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) dispose d’un dispositif de formation initiale des professions de santé exceptionnel par sa dimension et sa diversité.
En 2011, 3000 internes et 13000 étudiants en médecine et en soins paramédicaux se sont formés à l’AP-HP.
Ce dispositif comprend notamment :

- Techniciens de laboratoire en analyses biomédicales/préparateurs en pharmacie hospitalière
- Manipulateurs en électroradiologie médicale
- Masseurs kinésithérapeutes
- 2 écoles de sages-femmes
- 1 institut de formation en travail social.
Ces écoles et instituts accueillent plus de 8000 étudiants chaque année.
